INTELLIGENCE
Intelligence
is capacity for learning reasoning, understanding and similar form of mental
activity; aptitude in grasping, truths, relationship, fact, meaning etc.
Multiple intelligences according to Prof. Howard Gardner, an
American research, say that every person has a variety of intelligence. Through the introduction of Multiple Intelligences, we
can study the strengths / weaknesses of the child and give them opportunities
to learn through Strengths
Howard Gardner posits
eight native “ Intelligences , ” which are described as follows
1)
Word smart
The ability to use language
effectively, Intelligence in this field requires a child's ability to store a
variety of meaningful information related to the thinking process.
2)
Logic smart
The ability to use number effectively,
smart in solving problems that require logical thinking.
3)
Nature smart
The ability to understand and organize
the pattern of nature, children with this intelligence are usually happy to
find out about something and then group them into certain categories, such as
happy watching birds, rocks, or record the type of car is different. These
children usually know exactly who to ask for help when needed.
4)
Picture smart
The ability to form mental models of
the world, children with visual intelligence is usually rich with imagination
so creative and imaginative likely.
5)
Body smart
The ability to having a
well-coordinated body and children with intelligence usually rely more on
strength of body muscles.
6)
Music smart
An ability a good hear for music, A
child who has the intelligence in music (Musical Intelligence) usually love to
sing, love to listen to music, could play a musical instrument, able to read
music / numbers, easily remembered melody or tone, easy to recognize many
different songs .
7)
People smart
The ability to understand another
person and have good interaction to another people, Children who have
interpersonal intelligence is usually preferred his friends because he was able
to interact well and have great empathy for his friends.
8)
Self smart
The ability to understand one self,
can be self interaction and Children with intrapersonal intelligence are
usually well aware of the skill areas and areas where it is not too advanced.
He was happy to keep a diary or a journal daily, happy to write down ideas,
memories, feelings or personal history. Such children are usually well aware of
who he is and he is very happy about the future and his goal in one day.
CONCLUTION
All
children have different intelligence and intelligence is not something that can
be fixed but in flower in performance by a child's and children will solve a
